RECONDITIONED CAT 826H (2013) UNIT # C7939A CAT 826H equipped with a CAT Straight Landfill Blade, Various Wheel Options Available, Automatic Reversing Fan, Automatic Blade Positioning, and Front & Rear Striker Bars. This used Caterpillar 826H Landfill Compactor is equipped with: • CAT C15 ACERT Engine • Powershift Transmission • Cab w/ A/C • Automatic Reversing Fan • STIC Steering • CAT Straight Landfill Blade • Automatic Blade Positioning • Various Wheel Options Available • No Spin Front Differential • Swing Out Stairways • Front & Rear Striker Bars • Front Window Guard • Rated at 401 HP • Weight 82,000 LBS At 5765 hours, Marcel Equipment completed the following Rebuilding/Reconditioning to this CAT 826H Compactor: • Installed NEW CAT complete drop-in engine • Resealed torque, transmission & transfer case • Installed NEW transmission modulating valves • REMAN hydraulic fan motor • Installed NEW main chassis, engine & transmission wiring harnesses • REBUILT parking brake assembly • All pressures taken to ensure within OEM spec. This Compactor was then sold to a Private Landfill Contractor that used it to complete his contract til its current hours. Marcel Equipment purchased this Compactor back from the Contractor at 12,674 Hours and Completed the following:  Rebuilding / Reconditioning to this Machine: • Upon arrival at our yard, all guards & covers were removed & the machine was power washed • Completed visual & operational inspections • Changed engine oil & filter • Filter was cut open & checked for contaminants - clean • Changed transmission oil & filter, filter cut open & checked - some seal and clutch material found • Checked suction screens - some seal and clutch material found • Changed hydraulic filter, filter checked - filter clean - changed oil • Changed fuel filter • Checked Differential Oils - changed oils after repairs completed • Checked 4 wheel planetary oils - changed oils after repairs completed • Checked rear axle oscillation - good • Checked center articulation - good • Checked engine high & low idle • Checked torque converter stall speed • Checked all transmission pressures • Checked all hydraulic pressures Completed all Needed mechanical repairs as follows: • Disassembled machine to complete all Needed repairs • Rebuilt Transmission • Replaced Transmission mounts • Rebuilt Turbo, installed with new seals, studs and gaskets • Replaced injectors with CAT Reman • Removed Radiator cores and sent out for cleaning, testing and re-installed with New seals • Completed Valve set and replaced Valve cover gaskets • Replaced rear main crank seal • Replaced front crank seal • Rebuild fan pump • Rebuild implement pump • Rebuild transmission pump • Rebuild steering pump • Rebuild fan motor • Installed rebuilt starter with gaskets and seals • Resealed steering cylinders • Replaced steering bushings, pins and grease seals • Cleaned and resealed lower radiator tank • Resealed brake accumulator • Removed water to water coolers from engine, sent for testing and installed with new gaskets and seals • Resealed hydraulic tank • Replaced front axle pinion seals • Replaced rear axle trunnion bushings • Replaced front trunnion, carrier and pinion bearings • Rebuilt STIC steering • Installed new seat • Replaced AC lines to top of cab • Removed heater core and evaporator and sent for testing • Installed NEW engine belts • Blade pin bores align bored , new pins and bushings installed • Completed all sheet metal and cosmetic repairs. • Complete machine has been sandblasted, primed, painted and New decals applied. • Completed Work Ready Machine.
